Giving back to the Community
At Shooters Sports Bar & Grill we love supporting the local community!
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a concept that we take seriously, and genuinely enjoy fulfilling.
From culturally-inspired events, to sponsorship, to charity, to simply providing a venue for community groups, Shooters is there.
Culture for the Community
Shooters holds a variety of cultural events throughout the year that help our expat clientele feel at home, as well as offer an authentic cultural experience for our local (Japanese) patrons.
Some of these events include:
- Super Bowl Party
- St. Patrick's Day
- Easter Activities for Kids
- Independence Day (4th of July)
- Halloween (parties for kids and adults alike)
- Thanksgiving (Canadian and U.S.)
- Christmas Dinner
- New Year's Count Down
Sponsorship
Shooters has always been a frequent sponsor of many events and organizations.

- Nagoya Diamond Dolphins Basketball Team
- Boy Scouts Pinewood Derby
- Nagoya's active Theatrical Community
- Shooters Steppers (Country Music Dance group)
- HOPE International Development Agency - HOPE Night
Membership
Shooters, through its parent company Cezars International K.K. , is a corporate member of both the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) and the Tokai Japan Canada Society (TJCS) . In addition to support through official Membership, we also help by providing space for meetings and gatherings, priority reservations for events and activities, as well as participation in a number of off-site activities.
In addition, our role as Nagoya's community hub, enables us to connect these organizations with our patrons, and our patrons with these organizations. Win-win for everyone!
Charitable Support
Shooters also donates cash to worthy causes when that is what is most appropriate.
The specific charities that we have supported over the past quarter century would be too numerous to list them all. Here are some of the highlights:
- Chubu Walkathon International Charity Festival
We support this worthy initiative annually through direct monetary sponsorship and also support the event by participating as a food vendor (wherein we also donate a percentage of sales to the event). - Hilton Christmas Train
We sponsor a balloon at the annual Hilton Christmas Train which raises money for children's charities in the Chubu region. - Christmas Charity Lunch for Washinkan Children
This annual event brings some cheer to underprivileged Japanese children. We eat lunch with the children, play games, and sing Christmas carols. Shooters provides the venue and meals for this event organized by the ACCJ Chubu Chapter.
Community Hub for Clubs and Organizations
Many local businesses, clubs, organizations, and hobby groups regularly hold their meetings and gatherings
right here at Shooters.
Shooters is the perfect venue for such gatherings as we have everything you need ready to go:
- the space
- privacy (if needed for larger groups)
- audio-visual equipment
- refreshments (we are a bar & restaurant, after all)
- friendly and helpful staff
